Police said four women were drowned in the Indus River while washing in Jaglot town, Gilgit province on Thursday.
Police Chief Gilgit Mohamed Ayaz said that the residents of Jaglot had dismantled the bodies of two women and the remaining three were being detained.
He said the rescue team had been deployed from the city of Gilgit to dismantle the remaining three bodies.
These women are washing clothes by the river, and one of them is leaning against the water. The four women who tried to get him out were accepted by the media.
